Refund Policy

All registration fees are generally non-refundable once payment has been confirmed. However, refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

2.1 Event Cancellation by Organizers

• If an event is cancelled by the organizers before the event date, a full refund will be processed
• Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method
• You will be notified via email about the cancellation and refund process

2.2 Duplicate Payment

• If you accidentally make a duplicate payment for the same registration, one payment will be refunded
• You must contact us within 48 hours of the duplicate payment
• Refund will be processed after verification of the duplicate transaction

2.3 Technical Error

• If a payment was processed due to a technical error on our system, a full refund will be issued
• You must report the issue within 24 hours of the transaction

2.4 Medical Emergency

• Refunds may be considered for medical emergencies preventing participation
• Request must be submitted at least 7 days before the event date
• Medical documentation may be required
• Refund amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

The following situations are NOT eligible for refunds:

• Change of mind or personal circumstances after payment confirmation
• Failure to attend the event without prior cancellation
• Disqualification from the event due to rule violations
• Incomplete or incorrect information provided during registration
• Request made less than 7 days before the event date (except for event cancellation)

4. Refund Process

4.1 How to Request a Refund

• Send an email to info@youthskatingacademy.in with the subject "Refund Request"
• Include your registration ID, payment transaction ID, and reason for refund
• Provide any supporting documentation if applicable

4.2 Refund Review

• All refund requests will be reviewed within 5-7 business days
• We will notify you via email about the decision
• If approved, refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days

4.3 Refund Method

• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used
• For card payments, refunds will be credited to the same card (may take 5-10 business days)
• For UPI payments, refunds will be processed to the same UPI ID
• For bank transfers, refunds will be processed to the same bank account

5. Processing Fees

• Payment gateway processing fees (if any) are non-refundable
• If a refund is approved, the processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount
• In case of event cancellation, full refund including processing fees will be provided

6. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, partial refunds may be issued at our discretion. The refund amount will be calculated based on:

• The time remaining until the event
• Administrative costs incurred
• The specific circumstances of the refund request

7. Transfer of Registration

Instead of requesting a refund, you may be able to transfer your registration to another participant, subject to:

• Approval from event organizers
• Transfer request made at least 7 days before the event
• Payment of any applicable transfer fees
• New participant meeting all eligibility requirements

8. Disputes and Appeals

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may appeal by:

• Submitting a detailed explanation via email to info@youthskatingacademy.in
• Providing additional documentation or evidence
• All appeals will be reviewed by our management team
• Final decisions will be communicated within 10 business days
